It’s been a little quiet on the blog the last couple of months. That means that I’ve been busy photographing! I’ve had the pleasure to photograph some wonderful weddings this spring and also some fun engagement shoots.

It’s also been busy on the editorial front. This morning The New York Times sent me to photograph the Winklevoss twins. You might remember them from the Facebook movie. The article is now up on the Times website. Read it here and watch the video for more photos.

If you haven’t seen the new exhibit at the American Museum Of Natural History I really recommend it. Check out my slide show at the Times if you are into giant skeletons.

Sean and MaryLeigh got married in Dumbo underneath the Manhattan Bridge with a beautiful view of the Manhattan skyline. After the ceremony the guests walked over to Bubby’s where the wedding reception was held.
Sean and MaryLeigh’s wedding was a true DIY affair with handmade bouquets and cheese plate centerpieces.

After the official wedding ended, the gusts headed over to Galapagos Art Space for an after party that lasted into the wee hours.

 

The kind folks over at WeddingWire awarded me the Bride’s Choice Award. They tell me that I’m in the top five percent of wedding photographers in New York. This is all thank to my clients who left me wonderful feedback and reviews over the past year. Thank you!

Michael and Sonja’s wedding was a tale of two cities. A perfect Brooklyn wedding with a Parisian flare. They handcrafted nearly every detail to tell the story of their romance – from the streets of Williamsburg where they fell in love to the twinkling lights of Paris where Michael popped the question. The ceremony and wedding reception was held at MyMoon in Williamsburg.

This is what happens when a talented human rights lawyer and an architect decide to tie the knot. Any and Michael had an unforgettable wedding at Brooklyn Academy Of Music. With its high ceilings and warm color tones, BAM is one of my favorite wedding venues in my own Borough of Brooklyn. The historical building has been a host for progressive and avant garde performances for over 150 years. Andy and Michael can now add their wedding to that history and count themselves with the likes of Mary Todd Lincoln, Paul Simon, Mark Twain and Booker T. Washington. Congrats guys!
